The M.I.S.S.Program
(Mentoring + Internship + Service = Scholarship) was launched as a beta program in January 2009 to empower teenage girls to 'claim their voice', build self-esteem, improve their status and become dedicated to excellence.  Our goal includes offering programs that support young women to become next generation leaders through a series of workshops and enrichment experiences.  The girls are also offered opportunities to meet and intern with our Honorees and other
community leaders.  

The purpose of this program is to ensure our community is always filled with achievers, leaders and influencers. 

If you know a student who might qualify and benefit from this program - please send in your recommendation letter and
a form/application will be mailed to you to complete.  

The MISS Program (Mentoring + Internship + Service = Scholarship) was launched in  January 2009.  Meetings, dynamic workshops and direct experiences have been designed to source more achievers, leaders and influencers. 

The program has a three-fold focus on EDUCATION, INNOVATION and the ENVIRONMENT.  As of 2009, 101 Honorees are the guiding examples on how to "lead" one's life vs. just "living it"...we believe that these exceptional women will be powerful influencers for both girls and women.

The teenage girls who participate in our program will eventually be the community leaders, wives and mothers, who will help build future societies.  We intend to honor the importance of their lives and help them learn and grow into their fullest potential. 

Along with unique, direct experiences in: entrepreneurship, arts, environment, science and financial literacy, we will include fundamental processes to help build self-esteem, confidence and core values.  Life mapping,  leadership skills, communications, negotiations, peer conflict resolution, and healthy lifestyles will be emphasized with a focus on EXCELLENCE...for whatever path they choose.

We are dedicated to ensuring that The M.I.S.S. Program is a well-written first chapter in a young girl’s life.
