MARIN WOMEN'S HALL OF FAME...The Center For Excellence, is focused on LEADERS, MENTORING and LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT and is writing the next best chapter in its HERstory of success! 

VISION:
The organization is dedicated to being an ongoing source of inspiration for all who value excellence.

MISSION:
To identify and honor Marin girls and women leaders whose extraordinary achievements exceed expectations, creating breakthroughs for society. 

To provide a legacy for future generations by documenting their accomplishments and recording the history of their lives. 

To mentor and empower women and girls to reach their full potential as resilient visonaries focused on education, innovation, the environment and positive results.

To provide programs and services that address the needs, issues and opportunities that pre-teens through elders consider important.

During Women's History Month, in March, we host an awards ceremony and annual dinner to honor Marin County's most extraordinary women. 

The community nominates awards in the following categories:
Arts, Business & Professions, Community Service, Education, Environment, Public Affairs, Health, Science & Medicine, Religion & Spirituality, Sports & Recreation, Social Change, Technology. 

Our goal is to connect, collaborate and proactively explore the ever changing landscape of issues, interests and possibilities for progress, opportunity and leadership development.  We believe that there needs to be a groundswell of determination for girls and women to become dedicated to success and excellence.  We are resolved to promote the powerful and important success stories of our Honorees as inspiration and examples of how one can LEAD their life vs. 'just living it'.  The women leaders who are now Honorees in Marin Women's Hall of Fame are some of the best and most positive role models that girls, other women and our elders can emulate.

Our logo represents women as source, a wellspring of creation and energy, a loving force of nature and nurture, flowing  with life.  Through these women, their generosity and vitality, we thrive...
